The impressive range, performance and charging speed of IONIQ 5 are made possible by a state-of-the-art battery pack. Built with a higher capacity and greater energy density, it feeds IONIQ 5 with 77.4 kWh of electric power. And it's capable of handling charging speeds of up to 250kW, taking advantage of time-saving 800V ultra-fast charging. Traveling up to 303 miles on a single charge, IONIQ 5 has the highest all-electric range of any Hyundai. The RWD model of the IONIQ 5 produces 225 horsepower while the AWD model increases the power to 320 horsepower. Hyundai claims the IONIQ 5 has a top speed if 115 mph and an acceleration of 0-62 mph of 5.2 seconds.
Standard equipment across all IONIQ 5 models include LED headlights and daytime running lights, dual zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, AM/FM/HD stereo with six speakers, Bluetooth, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, navigation, adaptive cruise control, rear parking sensors, and 5 USB ports.
Stepping into the SEL trim adds a power liftgate, auto-dimming rearview mirror, garage door transmitter, front and rear parking sensors, and a heated steering wheel. The Limited trim features ventilated front seats, a 10-way power driver seat, a sliding center armrest, driver seat memory, a roll-up cargo cover, an 8-speaker sound system, head-up display, surround view cameras, and left and right side blind spot view.
The IONIQ 5 is also available with a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) 120V charging outlets to supply power inside and outside the vehicle for larger electric equipment and appliances. Now you can plug in a TV or espresso machine for your camping trip, or a laptop for your work trip.

The IONIQ 5 gets a few changes for 2023, the towing capacity was increased to 2300 lbs. and the range gets an increase to 266 miles.
